What happens after a landlord reaches out?
The renter sees the request in their inbox with full property details and has 48 hours to reply. Accepting a request simply opens a conversation between the two of you, it is not a commitment to sign. If the timer runs out, the request lapses so no one is left hanging.
Can landlords verify their identity?
Yes, and we encourage it. Verifying is a quick one-time ID check through Stripe that takes a minute or two, and your ID details never touch our servers. Verified landlords get an "Identity verified" badge that renters trust, while anyone who skips it shows up as unverified, so renters always know who they are dealing with.
